SponsorshipA Newly arrived Tibetan refugee girl from Tibet

Sponsors and donors are a very valuable part of the education programme for the Tibetan community in exile and their support has assisted the Tibetan community with several important projects and provided opportunities for many students.

The Tibet House Trust administers sponsorship schemes for school children in India through the Department of Education, Tibetan Children’s Village, Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts and Ngoenga School, school for Tibetans with learning difficulties.

The Trust also sponsors through the Department of Religion and Culture elderly or destitute monks/nuns studying and practising Buddhist philosophy.

Infant school ClassroomAt present we have over 150 beneficiaries under this programme and sponsors from many different countries.  The cost of sponsorship per beneficiary is £13 per month (£156 a year).  This covers the beneficiary’s fees and provides for their basic maintenance, i.e. payment for books, foods, clothes and healthcare.

Sponsorship is long-term means to help an Individual better themselves in life and help the Tibetan cause. If you will like to find out more or you have any queries please email me sponsorship@tibet-house-trust.co.uk or  tibettrust@tibet.com .

A Child sponsored through TrustBecome a Sponsor, please help a child or monk or nun by becoming a sponsor and give them something valuable in life. As a sponsor you will receive reports, greeting cards and letters from them. It is a rewarding way to help someone.
