The
Tibetan Refugee community is doing its utmost to become self-sufficient
and self-reliant, but the support of the international community is needed
to sustain our efforts.
As
we continue to receive appeals for further funding from the Tibetan
refugee community, your continuous support is still needed. Our works are
covered broadly under the following areas:

Cultural:
Cultural research
and documentation, support for artists, sponsorship
for monks & nuns, music teacher training etc.
|

Development:
Capacity building, environmental
& natural resources, irrigation, income-generating projects, training
centres, outreach & networking.
|
|
Education:
Sponsorship
of school children and higher education, construction of schools,
publications, Tibetan Language classes etc.
|
|
Emergency
Relief Aid: Rapid rescue
action in times of natural calamities like the Tibet Snow Storm, Ladakh
Snow Strom, Orrissa Cyclone, Manali Fire, Ladakh Flood, Mungod Drought
etc..

Exhibition:
We have two exhibitions, the Tibet Museum and Exile
story, both are photo exhibitions and can be hired.
Health:
Hospitals, clinics,
psychological counseling & medical care .

Rehabilitation:
Housing & Shelter, care for
the destitute and disabled, torture victims etc.
